In this project I was a journalist or I was chosen to be a journalist. I interviewed someone who migrated from Canada who is now a Citizen. I talked a lot about immigration and how immigrants help us and the economy. Here is the link to my:

Abigail Fisher declared that the University of Texas discriminated her by choosing two other people from a different race when Fisher submitted her application first. The 14th amendment states that it protects certain rights to US citizens meaning. The defensive side said that she was discriminated and that her application should have been viewed first. But if she would have been in the top ten percent of her graduating class she would have been accepted to the university of texas. The university never told Fisher she would get accepted. My analysis is that Abigail Fisher should have not been accepted. We also think that university should be able to accept other races over caucasians we need to bring diversity. To give the chances to other races brings bigger chances to them. Giving them changes can help them and succeed in life we are not saying that caucasians should not join the University of Texas but by bringing diversity we bring more peace throughout the world and more successful people. But how can we do that? By making more people reach the top 10% if they really want to be successful they should be able to work hard to get to the top 10% If they don't make it then they can look for another university that can accept the or wants them The University of Texas was populated with 70% of white people and they wanted to make the university more diverse. A case similar to Fisher v University of Texas was the case Grutter v Bollinger. The case of Grutter v Bollinger main point was that diversity was a “compelling interest in achieving diversity among its student body”. Going back to the University of texas they also wanted diversity and they are trying to reach that state where they have equal amount of all races. The University of Texas made a clear choice and had there reasons to choose other caucasians students over Fisher. The reason why Fisher was arguing about other Caucasians was because she thought she was chosen over other people. This school was already 70% white and wanted diversity. There was really no discrimination. Diversity should be allowed because there are many people who do not have the same privilege as white people. By allowing this more and more people have better educations and a better life in the future a successful one. Allowing diversity to schools makes a school look good. It is giving other people more chances and attracts people of different races to this new school. These students would have talents and and something they are good at. This gives the generation a better chance to show the next generation what they know. These students are the future to teaching the new generation to making everything better. Fisher needs to understand that she was not discriminated. In conclusion We believe Abigail Fisher was NOT in the top 10% , She was NOT discriminated and the University of Texas did NOT break the 14th Amendment rule. Mclaren P1 Vs Bugatti Veyron
1.15 / 1.7 903Hp / 1,300hp I believe that Mclarens are better than bugattis. Many people may or may agree with me and many might not. The difference in Bugattis and Mclearns are huge. For example Bugattis are very expensive because of the horsepower they hold in the motor which would be about 1,300 HP. Mclarens are about 1.15 million dollars because of the luxury they have and how good looking they look from the outside. Mclarens have about 903 HP in the motor. They also accelerate much more faster than a Bugatti. Once a Bugatti reaches its speed limit it will pass the the Mclaren leaving it behind. One thing that bugattis and McLarens have in common are spoilers they come up when the car is going to fast. Think about it as an airplanes flaps. If a plane did not have that then there would be no way for the plane to go up or down. Same with these to cars they both would not have control without the spoilers they would lose control and end up crashing into a wall. In conclusion I think McLearns are equal to Bugatti’s they are both fast they are both well made and have a lot of luxury. The luxury that these two cars have are very expensive. That’s what makes these cars very special nice looking There many other types of cars less faster cheaper some are much more expensive and there are many other versions of these cars. These cars all have something special in them each one has there specialty one could be stick shift the other won’t have stick shift. I believe that both cars are the same and that both are very fast and good looking sports cars that anyone can work hard and buy one of them or maybe both. If you were to buy these cars would you take them out or leave them in your garage? These cars are very hard to take care of because they can easily scratch anywhere you go. mclaren p1 acceleration 0-60https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/mclaren-0-60-mph-times/https://roadtrippers.com/stories/bugatti-service-costs On the very first day of school we had a mini field trip to a small pond. We were on a journey to collect some water. On our tables Miss Lyman (our chemistry teacher) already had gone to other places to collect water one of them were Poway lake san Marcos and more. We all had to do a lab and see how clean the water was. We had to run many test like chromium and Chromate or Iron. Those were some of the test we had to run on the water that we had. This lab was very fun. She partners us up with our classmates. My partner was Alli Lorton. We both ran tests on the water which was Poway water. The test results were positive salmonid species were able to live in this water. But my own water also came out positive. here are my test results.... We started with silica it started with clear water once you put the silica in it looked like a puffy white cloud. Once I started to mix it, it started to turn very dark blue. Silica was positive. Groups water: Cyanide No colors formed in my water even after time was up. Cyanide was negative. Of course it would not be in this water it Would be very toxic and would kill any animal that touched it or was in it. Cyanide is very toxic. Nitrate nitrogen, this substance was positive a very light pink color appears meaning it had some nitrate nitrogen in it. Copper no color appears meaning copper was negative in this water. Chlorine we timed this and no color appears after time was expired the water was still clear. No Chlorine. Alkalinity, we added the substance and it had 90ppm. not too bad. Sulfide there was no color through the test tube. The test was negative. Ammonia nitrogen no color appeared just some bubbles. test was negative. PH strips colors change during time high level of ph8-9 PH first it turned yellow-ish to green-ish and then turned fully green ph level was 9 iron water stayed crystal clear no change test was negative. Chromate did not have chromate didn't change color stayed the same. Now here are the test results of my own personal water from a pond i live next to: My Water: Ph level: 7 If the Ph level was higher than 8.00 then fish would not be able to live in this water and they would end up dying some goes with us humans if the ph level was higher than it could harm us. Iron: Negative Humans drink iron and we sometimes need it for our bodies. the safest amount of iron in water to drink would be 10 pm. and for fish and other animal species it would be somewhere around. 1.67 Alkalinity: 75ppm This water was great for koi and turtles . The more alkalinity means the more acidic water, and low alkalinity makes Ph acidic. Alkalinity is important to fish and protects against rapid Ph changes. Since the ph is at a safe level, the alkalinity is also at a safe level. |
