For career day I shadowed an employee who worked at the Fund for Animals Wildlife Center located in Ramona. I got to see many animals such as baled eagles, hippo that was around seventy years old, bear cubs baby birds, bob cats and a coyote. The employees all played a roll in the wild life center some employees/volinteers were using X-rays to see if the animals had no broken bones. There are many volunteers at this wildlife center and they have to go through traning to do more and more fun things. I helped Stacey the person I shadowed get food ready for the animals that way the food could be ready the next day. They also have menus for the animals that way they keep track of what the animals have to eat and how much they spend on food. For example frozen rats are protein for the animals. The only animals that this wildlife center has are predators. They keep them but they keep them isolated from us that way they don't get used to us. If they do they end up depending on us.
